Thinking about turning it into a pillow, again! But when I look at it I feel like it will be better to sew on fabric stripes in between the flowers to achieve window-like look. Will see...

Mondrian rug

Finally done with my Mondrian-inspired latch hook rug.
It took long time as I had to take summer break. It was too hot to work with acrylic yarn.
The idea is from this site, but I made my rug a bit bigger - 48x78 cm.
I used Turkish acrylic yarn from my local store, it is thicker than the yarn used in latch hook kits and this was a good thing. The rug turned out very thick and soft and warm. I love it! Already thinking about another one with a middle-eastern design, but not earlier than October.
