Petit Coeur

To entertain myself this year, I decided to bring some reasoning to my stitching starts. So, I came up with Stitching-around-the-world idea. Will try different countries as designers origin or design themes.
First, France - Petit Coeur by Jardin Prive.
Started this only because I needed some rest from my big projects.
Stitched on 32ct. Flax linen by Zweigart with very slippery DMC rayon flosses 1over2.
10-13 January 2020.

Unexpected finish

This is the first time I started a project from Craftpod the moment I received it.
Stitched a tiny Holiday hoop just in two days but I did it my way.
It was supposed to look like this:

But I stitched it with metallic flosses and it looks a bit blingy now.
Winter 2019 Craftpod - 18-19 December 2019.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Autumn finishes

Sometimes it takes years for me to FFO something.
I bought buttons for this project some 10 years ago, stitched it in May-June 2017 and only in 2019 made the final project - fabric envelope.
The Thread that Ties Us (CrossStitch Gold No 82)

I have another finish in November:
Country Morning by Mill Hill (MH14-3205)
1 September - 22 November 2019

And another one in almost November:
Autumn in the Meadow by Just Nan
19 November - 1 December 2019

October finishes

Big finish.
Generalife Palace. Kit No 1579 by Riolis. 10 February - 30 October 2019.
Stitching with wool threads were challenging at first but I liked it after all. Bought another kit for future stitching.

And Mini finish.
Permin of Copenhagen 14-1324 — 18 April-18 October 2019.

Now I have two of them.

Summer finishes

Summer in the Meadow by Just Nan.
19 June - 31 July (14 stitching days).

Spring and summer. Two more seasons to come...

Tea Time Blackwork Sampler by Ajisai Press.
6 June - 3 August 2019 (8 stitching days).
It was stitched on Monk cloth, very big and very wonky. Made a tray doily out of it. Took just one week for it to be covered in tea stains. :)

Second jar is ready.
Dimensions Christmas Jar Ornaments.
19 July - 26 August 2019 (19 stitching days).

And now there are two of them.

StitchMaynia 2019

My StitchMaynia is over. This year I tried to be monogamous and chose Twisted Band Sampler by Northern Expressions Needlework. The idea was to start new band every day for 17 days.
I used the rest of the month to complete the project.
It was stitched with called-for Dinky Dyes silks on Ecru Sotema linen (it was bought as 40ct. linen but in fact it is not quite even 37/39ct) 1 over 2.
Worked on the project - 1-29 May 2019. Have only positive feelings about it.

Cotton

This was a May Day finish.
Cotton (kit by Panna).
19 March - 1 May 2019 (16 days of stitching).
I replaced Aida fabric in the kit with cotton evenweave.
That was such a wonderful project to stitch, enjoy every minute of it!

Tall year

What needed to be stitched is stitched. Next step is put everything together. Nobody knows when this could happen...

Stitched 19 January - 20 April 2019 using beautiful Gloriana silks.

Stitching in ink

The Music Teacher's House by Ronnie Rowe Designs using silks4u (I used 12.5m of dark blue-PR069 1over2) on White 46ct. Bergen linen by Zweigart.
18 November 2018 - 27 March 2019.

Winter Garden

It was a February start and almost February finish.
Winter Garden Sampler by Victoria Sampler.
19 Feb - 1 March 2019 (7 stitching days).
It took more time than it should have been because I did not buy the silk floss pack (too expensive) and had to choose from numerous leftover silks from my stash. And I am very indecisive, I always question my choices assuming they are wrong. Good thing I like the final result.

January Starts and Finishes

First - a finish.
Namaste by Ink Circles. Was sick with flue and this was the only one I could safely stitch, because 14 count.
25 August 2018 - 8 January 2019.

New Starts!
Another one for 30 years of stitching - Blue Moon (Andy Russell) by HAED.
However, very soon I realized that I need to finish it at least within 15 years, my eyes may fail to see the stitches.
It is stitched on 40 count Verdal 1 over 1 half-stitch (basktweave). Started 1 January 2019.

Progress as of end January.

From Nancy's Needle. Winter Christmas Roses (canvaswork).
Started 8 January 2019.
Progress as of end January.

Tall Year Square Etui (Inspirations magazine Issue No 93).
Bought a lot of Gloriana silks for this one. Will look fabulous if I manage to sew all 18 individually stitched pieces into one box.

Yesterday I finished the winter panel.
