On even days of StitchMaynia2017 I was starting various other projects which I had in plans for a long time. One of such projects is a Needle-keep from CrossStitch Gold issue No 82.
The magazine is from beginning of 2011. Somewhere around that time I bought special buttons for this needle-keep and six years later...
8 May -29 June 2017. But in fact just 5 days of stitching. Why I waited for so long?
I wonder how long it will take me to turn it into a finished needle-keep? Six more years....

Keslyn's Itty-Bitty's
My first StitchMaynia start. Keslyn's Itty-Bitty's. Stitched on 25 ct. Lugana 1 over 1.
I wanted to try Mo-Sale's cottons that I so greatly advertised on Floss-tube, so I specially selected 16 colors for the project.
My idea of StitchMaynia was that I would start new block every odd day of the month.
Here is my Maynia result:
In June I was finishing 2x2 groups.
Group I: Ariel, Pocahontas, Ratcliffe and Gryffindor.
Group II: Han, Tweedle Dee & Dum, Snow White and White Rabbit.
Group IV: Slytherin, Cheshire Cat, Lilly and Patronus.
Slitherin was a bad choice on white.
Finished on 22 June 2017.

In Good Company
Some time ago I used to subscribe to an Australian Magazine Inspirations, very good and colourful. For some time I even bought their kits, especially the ones with lots of different materials which I would not be able to buy elsewhere.
Once upon 2006, 18 July, I purchased a kit - In Good Company - scissor fob and pincushion (Inspiration No 50). I managed to stitch the fob only and after several years of use it looked like this:
Kind of dirty and unpleasant looking.
Having enough materials for making a pincushion and another fob I decided to stitch both.
Some of my progress pictures before showing the end piece.
Ta-da!
10 May 2017. A bit lopsided but... I like them!

Stitch Maynia
I was really manic in May.
First time participated in StitchMaynia and I loved it.
The idea was to stitch one of 16 blocks of Keslyn's Itty-Bitty's every odd day of the month and have new start on every even one. I did everything as planned. And even managed to have a coupe of small finishes and a huge one!
Keslyn's Itty-Bitty's monthly project. I used Mo-Sale's cottons which I bought specially for this pattern.
And my finishes.
Mill Hill Christmas Village Inn (4March-16May 2017).
Prairie Schooler Folk Egg No 3 (6-19 May 2017).
My usual Joyful World Calendar installment - June (18-26 May 2017).
And on the last day of May - my pride and joy - Teresa Wenzler's Tea Scene. This was my carry-over from the last year and I am so glad I finished it. It is a wonderful pattern but at the same time is a very complicated one (12 July 2016 - 31 May 2017).
Maynia was both fun and a challenge. I'll be showing my other pieces as soon as I finish them.
