Sweet pea napkins

My learning to tat began from a simple napkin edge.

I took the design from Inspirations magazine issue 26.

I started to tat with #80 cotton.

However, the resulting edge seemed to be too delicate for my linen napkins, thus I moved to DMC Perle 12.

Spring and summer, two embroideries, 500 tatted circles and voila...

I hope they will keep good company to my Dragonfly napkins made back in 2007 inspired by Inspiration magazine issue 52.
