Pink shawl is finished. It was such a pleasure to weave. I tried to prolong the pleasure as I could.
Two yards of exceptional softness.
Yarn - Alpaca/Sick blend and Mohair/silk blend, one is better than the other.
Plain weave with Spanish lace on my Schacht Rigid-heddle loom.
Now I need to buy something to wear it with.

Autumn
How do I know that the winter is really coming (or at least autumn)? The moment I feel comfortable enough to dig out my wooly crafty projects.
The pink shawl is slowly moving along. More than a half is woven.
Half of the Mondrian latch hook rug is waiting for its second half since April.
A lot needs to be done with the Vermont Winter hooked rug. It came to a halt after unexpectedly I ran out of black wool. I guess this means that I did something wrong, probably, I hooked a bit too tight. Another worry is that I may run out of other colours too.
And the last wooly thing. My nice and warm KnitPicks Palette socks need mending. I may try to sqeeze another year out of them.

Cotton/linen assortment
I am done with my towel sampling. The warp was on the loom for so long (since July 2015).
I have now:
Two loopies

Loopy progress
My huck studies finally over and I can come back to my loopy cloth.
Not much progress but there is a colour change!

Daily quotas
I do not like to set deadlines, they add more pressure.
But sometimes they can be very useful:
1. Two sleeves on my Viticetum Coat are done (started last October).
2. Crochet top from cotton/lines yarn is finished.
3. Loopy cloth is moving on.
4. Pagoda View is in the process.
5. New runner project is almost on the loom.

Loopy cloth
One project over - another is on the way.
This time I dressed my rigid heddle loom with cotton/linen blend to make fingertip towels.
It's not exactly weaving but very relaxing.

Baker's twine
With weaving I have developed a strange bias towards a rope section in any utility store. How one can pass a row of colourful baker's twines without buying one or... all of them.
I used them to weave five small kitchen towelettes.
Warp is left-over cotton/linen yarn doubled. I love to used double threads in my rigid-heddle loom - saves so much time. Warping in one go!

Now I have five tiny towels around 22x27 cm each.

Waffle weave on rigid-heddle loom
This is my contribution to the waffle weave on a RH loom. The project is from a Weaving Today free e-book.
This was a very pleasant experience. I followed the exact instructions.
2.5 metres of warp resulted in 5 towels (apx. 24x40 cm).
