The third part of the set is finished. Now the question is what to do with them?

Warp rep debut

After long pause I found strength to start new warp. This time I'll be trying warp rep.
Maine Island Runner from Handwoven May/June 2007 seemed like a good choice but...
This time I decided not to buy new yarn and use only what I already have. I have nothing similar. Out of ten colours of 5/2 cotton I have I used nine in a kind of similar sequence. Hopefully the result will not be a total disaster.

Look at my warping paddle!

In braids warp looks nice. Now I think I should have used fewer colours.

Cotton/linen assortment

I am done with my towel sampling. The warp was on the loom for so long (since July 2015).
I have now:
Two loopies
Two twillies
And three clasp weave stripies
Seven total
Even better after washing and ironing

Tea with Honey pin cushion

I love cross-stitching even though the results are absolutely useless and in my case gather dust in numerous boxes. However, I do cross-stitch almost every day because this is the only craft so far that does not require any mind activity from my side - very relaxing.
But in some cases every stitch brings pleasure, like this pin cushion from Just Nan.
(Those three pretty pins came with the pattern.)

Blue velvet

Finally I am done with my multi-craft project.
I sew a blouse than smocked and embroidered it.
And than wove a simple bobbin lace tape that took ages to finish (btw, the colour of the tape is white).

Derwentwater's Triptych

The second part (Harbour View) of the set is done.

The first one (Crab Pot Cove) I finished bach in 2004. Aida colour is already turning a bit yellowish.
Third one to come...
