Mondrianing

Pinerest is a dangerous thing, especially if you are a monkey-see-monkey-do kind of a person. I am. And I've just added a new project to my long list of WIPs.
This is the culprit - Mondrian inspired latch hook rug.
(I am doing yarn cutting myself - no time to wait for a mail order :))

By the way, my one and only experience with latch hooking was this lady bird rug kit hooked in 2009.

Chickadees in Spring

When I started this cross-stitch kit in April 2015, I thought it would be an easy and pleasant spring project. I was wrong. Somehow it took me nine months to finish. But I am not complaining - colours are outstanding!
And I am done with 2015 cross-stitching projects! Time to search for something for 2016.

New year - new toy

I have something new for my crafty appetite - rug hooking frame and a kit!
Although this time I am not very happy with the toy. It works all right but the quality of wood work is not high. Was not done with love :(
Anyway I have something new to master and that's the most important thing!
