Mompei pants

Finally I moved to weaving clothes.

For the first attempt - simple mompei pants from Curious weaver magazine.

Warp and weft- 20/2 unmercerized cotton (doubled).

Weave - 2/2 twill (herringbone).

360+2 warp ends 5.40 long. 48 epi.

At the very beginning I tried different colors for weft, tea stain color looked best.

For the pants 4.62 m woven.

After washing the size of the finished fabric - 4.44 m x .34 m. Should be enough for my mompei pants.

I am pleased with the result. Next time I will make the fabric a bit narrower for a better fit.
