Just for the record.
My long Kogin pillow journey has come to its end.
I have a nice pillow now.
And I already bought a dark blue Sashiko pillow kit for the next year to stitch.
They will look good together.

Kogin debut

I've been longing to start something in kogin for a very long time. But as usual, I needed "proper" materials to do this. So, I bought a Japonese pillow kit.

I think I am in love. This is such a pleasure to stitch. I need to master it more though. I think I am doing something wrong as my needle got bent. Need to relax a bit.

Going Japanese

Japanese embroidery was on my wish list for a very long time. I stitched a couple of costers some time ago. Loved the result but it was way too hard to stitch because I used old jeans as fabric.

Then I saw Kogin projects on Pinterest and fell in love.
Several months and mail parcels later I have fabric, kits, threads, everything for both Kogin and Sashiko.
Love the pillow but will start with one of Sashiko cushion tops, one will be in blue, another in red.
