When I bought the fabric for this project, the idea was to make a tablecloth. But the fabric was so pretty I felt bad cutting it. So, I embroidered the whole piece which is big enough to be a bedspread.
Unfortunately, it is impossible to capture the real colour of the fabric. The first picture is the closest.
Design is from Zweigart 3331 leaflet.
Stitched on Zweigart Stockholm fabric with DMC Perle 3 cottons.

ReplyDeleteThat is just amazing. I remember having to do a huck project like that in Home Ec class ages ago but it was on an itty bitty tea towel NOT something so HUGE. I am so impressed!!!
