Potholder loom towel

This turned our not quite like I envisioned.
The idea was to make a towel using potholder loom. I made six squares leaving the edges open hoping that this would give me nice seams and border. Wrong! it was almost impossible to make the seams look tidy. Finally I just machine sewed them together and than added a crochet border.

  1. My great grandmother made giant blankets using a small potholder type loom. The way she put them together was genius. I really wish I had watched her do it or still had one of those blankets to examine. I would love to be able to weave small sections and put them together so they looked right but I've hated the results every time I tried.
Your little towel is quite charming. I bet a few washes should soften those seams so you hardly see them.

    1. I think i should have finished them individually and then hand-sew everything together. Maybe next time :)
